aptus-bloomboost
Aptus Bloomboost

Aptus Bloomboost is a fully organic bio-stimulant for the flowering and fruiting half of a crop, and it works on what the plant does with its own genetics rather than simply pushing more fertiliser at it. It is not a PK liquid. Instead of a heavy dose of phosphorus and potassium, it carries a slight but constant level of potassium alongside sulphur and boron, the two elements that quietly decide how much aroma and structure a flower ends up with. Aptus position it as optimising a plant's genetic expression, lifting trichome, terpene, flavonoid and oil production, and improving the quality, flavour, yield and shelf life of finished flowers and extracts. It suits all species of plants, with flowering and fruiting crops getting the most out of it.

Potassium is the thickener here, forming fibrous, dense fruit and flowers and firming them as they ripen, and Aptus keep it slight and constant so it works with mineral antagonism rather than against it, supporting flower development from the start without crowding other elements out. Sulphur is a component of essential amino acids and of certain plant hormones, and it sits behind the formation of oils and volatile compounds, which is why the extra sulphur reads on the finished flower as terpenes, flavonoids and a stronger nose. Boron holds membranes and cell walls together through cell division, so structure keeps pace as flowers build. Together the three also act as a precursor to healthy chlorophyll formation, keeping photosynthesis strong through bloom, and they support the plant's reproductive side, including heavy flower setting and healthy pollen and seed formation for anyone breeding.

Bloomboost goes into the reservoir at every feed from the second week of flowering and can run right through to harvest with no penalty to quality or flavour. It is just as useful as a foliar spray, and the first two weeks of flower are where that pays off most, for initial flower set and early plant development. Because the compounds in it are organic, it will form a biofilm in a recirculating system and add to the cleaning workload, which is why many growers add it one to two days before the feed water is replaced. Within the Aptus CLEAN Program it is not recommended for rockwool, and fertigation systems are held to a single Bloomboost feed per week to keep the lines clear. It can also be used on an organically certified farm. Whichever programme you run, mix the solution fresh and use it straight away; three days is the outside limit.

NOTE: Do not add Bloomboost to a deep water culture system. Products containing organic compounds should not be used in DWC, and DWC growers wanting to use Bloomboost should apply it as a foliar spray only. The Australian safety data sheet carries the signal word WARNING: Bloomboost may damage fertility or the unborn child, is harmful if swallowed, and may be irritating to eyes.
