It is a patented formula of potassium silicate broken down to a single molecule level, mono-silicic acid, and stabilised with boron, which makes it 100% bioavailable as soon as it is diluted into water. That matters because silicon only does anything for a plant once it is in a form the roots and leaves can actually absorb. Order of mixing matters more here than with most additives: Fasilitor goes into fresh water first, ahead of any other fertiliser or crop protection product, because of the way the mono-silicic acid particles are stabilised, and missing that step costs the benefit. Pour a dose into a separate container for measuring rather than dipping anything into the bottle, which keeps the concentrate uncontaminated. In a reservoir or hydroponic system it holds up for a minimum of seven days, and circulation pumps are the better way to keep that solution moving, because air stones cause silicic acid to polymerise on the stone surface and add to the cleaning.
