aptus-massboost
Aptus Massboost

Aptus Massboost is a highly concentrated organo-mineral calmag, built around calcium, magnesium, nitrogen and sulphur carried alongside L-amino acids, and it is made for indoor and outdoor growers working in coco, peat or soil on run-to-waste irrigation. It does two jobs at once: it prevents the calcium and magnesium deficiencies that quietly cost a crop, and it stimulates fruit set and development, which is why it stays in the feed through both vegetative growth and flower rather than appearing for a few weeks and disappearing again.

Calcium is an integral structural element of plant cells. An uninterrupted supply is what allows stout flowers, stems and leaves and the continued healthy formation of new tissue, and it is what prevents blossom end rot, dropped flowering sites and necrosis of leaf tissue. Magnesium is the central core of the chlorophyll molecule and the activator for enzymes that cannot do their work without it, so a chelated supply keeps chlorophyll development robust and photosynthesis running at its best. The L-amino acids are the organic half of the formula. They provide organic nitrogen that stimulates plant development, and combined with the calcium and magnesium they are what makes the nutrition in Massboost readily bioavailable. The same formula works on the flower and fruit themselves, building structure and firmness as the crop fills.

Those organic inputs also decide where Massboost belongs. It is the right choice for coco, peat or soil on run-to-waste irrigation where fresh feed is mixed daily or every second day; for recirculating hydroponics, DWC, fertigation systems and long multiday reservoirs, or where the substrate is rockwool or water, Mineral-Calmag is the Aptus calmag for the job. The two are not used together as root drenches, and the only permitted overlap is Massboost as a foliar spray with Mineral-Calmag as the root feed. Foliar use has its own window: it is very effective for quick recovery from nitrogen, calcium or magnesium deficiencies through veg and early flower, but spraying is not recommended after week 2 of flower. Phosphorus is the other thing to plan for. Massboost and phosphorus products react with each other, so add one to the water, dilute and mix it, then add the other; in high concentrations calcium and phosphorus form calcium-phosphate bonds that render both unavailable to the plant and can leave deposits and residues behind.

NOTE: Massboost may cause damage to organs (blood), causes skin irritation and causes serious eye irritation. Keep it in its original container in a well-ventilated, cool, dry area out of reach of children, and do not store it alongside strong acids, including Siliforce and Fasilitor, or with flammable goods.
