Xtreme Gardening MYKOS® is a pure, granular root‑zone enhancer composed of the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus Rhizophagus intraradices. Designed to form a symbiotic network of hyphae around plant roots, MYKOS® drastically boosts nutrient and water uptake, acting as an extension of the root system for more efficient resource absorption.

Ideal for both hobbyist and advanced growers cultivating vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers, MYKOS® promotes vigorous root development, reduces transplant shock, and supports resilience in both heavy clay and sandy media. It is compatible with synthetic and organic fertilisers, as well as all common growing substrates including soil, coco and rock‑wool.

With a high concentration of 300 living propagules per gram, this single‑species inoculant ensures strong colonisation without inter‑microbial competition. It helps plants endure drought or heat stress and can improve long‑term soil structure and nutrient cycling.

Directions for Use

Add MYKOS® directly into the planting hole around the roots (must make contact with roots).
Set the plant in place, backfill, and water thoroughly.

Containers:

3.8 L – 11.4 L (1 – 3 gal): 15 – 30 mL (1 – 2 tbsp)
19 – 26.5 L (5 – 7 gal): 60 – 90 mL (4 – 6 tbsp)
38 – 76 L (10 – 20 gal): 120 mL (½ cup)
95 – 190 L (25 – 50 gal): 240 mL (1 cup)
380 L (100 gal): 480 mL (2 cups)

Rock‑wool cubes:

Using a small stake or fork, poke several 6 – 12 mm (¼ – ½ in) holes in the bottom of the plant hole.
Add 5 – 10 g (1 – 2 tsp) of Mykos directly under the roots.
Set plant in place and water thoroughly.

In‑ground & raised beds:

15 – 30 mL (1 – 2 tbsp) per planting hole or directly at root zone.

Sowing seeds:

15 mL (1 tbsp) per 30 cm row
2.5 g (½ tsp) per cell or plug

For Xtreme results:

Water in with AZOS® and Xtreme Tea. Double the application rate and mix into the top 15 cm (6 in) of soil around the planting hole.
