VectoBac 12AS

VectoBac 12AS is a professional-grade liquid biological larvicide formulated for the control of mosquito and black fly larvae in aquatic habitats. Its active ingredient, Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies israelensis (Bti) strain AM65-52, is a naturally occurring bacterium that specifically targets the larvae of biting insects, making it highly effective and environmentally responsible. When ingested by larvae, the Bti proteins disrupt gut function, causing feeding to cease and death to occur within hours to days. This mode of action ensures precise control of mosquito populations before they mature into biting adults, reducing the risk of disease transmission.
