AC Infinity Activated Carbon Refill
The AC Infinity Activated Carbon Refill is a premium Australian-sourced granular charcoal media designed to restore full odour-scrubbing performance to AC Infinity refillable carbon filters at a fraction of the cost of an entire new filter. Produced using RC412 virgin charcoal rated at 1,200+ IAV, it delivers the same lab-tested odour-blocking efficacy as a factory-built filter without requiring active compression during the refill process, the granule size is specifically engineered so the carbon beds correctly under its own weight.
RC412 granules are finer than standard carbon pellets and benefit from significantly greater internal porosity, creating an expanded surface area that supports a higher adsorption rate for airborne contaminants including odours, volatile organic compounds, and chemical off-gassing. The elevated IAV (Iodine Adsorption Value) rating reflects the charcoal's capacity to trap a larger volume of unwanted substances per gram of media, extending the intervals between refills and reducing the long-term cost of maintaining a clean, discreet grow environment. Spent charcoal can be composted rather than landfilled, making each refill cycle more sustainable than discarding a whole filter.
Available in 3.63 kg (8 lb), 7.26 kg (16 lb), and 14.52 kg (32 lb) quantities, the refill suits single-filter refreshes through to bulk stock for multi-tent operations. A 3.63 kg (8 lb) bag refills a 150 mm (6") filter once or a 100 mm (4") filter twice; 7.26 kg (16 lb) covers a 200 mm (8") filter once, a 150 mm (6") filter twice, or a 100 mm (4") filter four times; 14.52 kg (32 lb) doubles those yields again. For a grower running a perpetual cycle who replaces their carbon bed at the end of each harvest, keeping a 14.52 kg (16 lb) bag on hand means their 6" refillable filter is refreshed and ready before the next run begins.
RC412 Australian virgin charcoal with a 1,200+ IAV rating, restore your refillable carbon filter to full odour-scrubbing performance at a fraction of replacement cost.

Directions for Use

Directions for Use
- Remove the refillable carbon filter from the duct system and allow it to cool completely if recently in use.
- Detach the aluminium flanges from both ends of the filter body.
- Empty the spent carbon granules from the filter chamber, spent charcoal can be composted.
- Rinse the filter body and mesh screens if needed, and allow to dry completely before refilling.
- Using the funnel and scoop supplied with the AC Infinity refillable filter, pour the RC412 carbon granules evenly into the filter chamber.
- Fill to the required level, do not overfill or actively compress the granules, as the granule size is sized to achieve correct bed density without compression.
- Reattach both aluminium flanges securely and confirm the rubber seal is correctly seated at each end.
- To extend filter service life further, reverse the position of the flanges at each refill cycle to rotate the carbon bed orientation.
- Reinstall the refilled filter into the duct system and resume normal operation.
Store unused carbon in the resealable bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and strong odours to preserve adsorption capacity until needed.
