Built around a lithium glass membrane sensor probe that delivers ±0.01 pH accuracy, it eliminates the need for separate pH and EC pens in the grow room, simplifying routine solution checks without sacrificing the precision serious growers require.
The meter is housed in an IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof body, sealed against moisture ingress, heat, and debris. A built-in protective sensor shield guards the glass membrane between uses, preventing accidental damage during storage and transport. The probe is fully interchangeable, meaning when accuracy degrades after 1-3 years of use, only the probe assembly requires replacement rather than the entire instrument, reducing long-term cost of ownership significantly. An AUTO-HOLD function locks the reading once it is stable for more than 10 seconds, and the meter shuts off automatically after 8 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
Every kit ships with a complete calibration set: pH 4.00 and 7.00 buffer solutions, 12.88 mS and 1413 µS EC calibration solutions, and a 3M KCL storage solution to keep the probe hydrated and accurate between sessions. Remove the protective sensor shield before use. NOTE: small water droplets inside the probe cap are normal. This is standard practice during production to maintain probe moisture and does not indicate a used product.
Power on the meter by pressing the power button.
Before first use and monthly thereafter, calibrate the pH sensor using the included pH 4.00 and pH 7.00 buffer solutions, and calibrate EC using the included 1413 µS solution.
Rinse the probe tip with clean water before submerging it into the solution you wish to test.
Submerge the probe tip into the solution to at least the minimum immersion depth. Do not fully submerge the entire meter body.
Wait for the reading to stabilise. If AUTO-HOLD is enabled, the display will lock and show "HOLD" once the reading has been stable for 10 seconds.
Record your pH, EC, TDS, temperature, and salinity readings as displayed on screen.
After each use, rinse the probe thoroughly with clean water and replace the protective sensor shield.
Store the meter with 3M KCL solution in the sensor cap to maintain probe moisture and extend probe lifespan.
Do not use this product in freezing conditions. Wait until the environment has warmed to room temperature before taking readings.
Replace the probe when readings become inconsistent or drift persists despite correct calibration. Probe lifespan is 1-3 years depending on frequency of use and maintenance.
