AC Infinity pH Meter Kit
The AC Infinity pH Meter Kit is the entry meter in AC Infinity's three-model water testing line, built for growers who want a dependable daily pH check without paying for laboratory-grade resolution. It reads pH and water temperature together from a single dip, resolving to ±0.1 pH, comfortably inside the margin that matters when steering a nutrient solution toward the 5.5 to 6.5 window where hydroponic feeds keep nutrients available. Growers chasing finer resolution or a replaceable electrode should step up to the AC Infinity pH Meter Pro Kit, while the AC Infinity Hydroponic Meter PRO Kit (pH & EC) extends the same platform to conductivity, TDS and salinity.
At its core is a lithium glass membrane probe protected by a detachable sensor shield that guards the glass bulb between tests and comes off for cleaning. The body is IP67 rated against dust and high-volume moisture, and at 17.8 x 4.2 x 3.0 cm (7.01 x 1.65 x 1.18 in) it is the slimmest meter in the family. Calibration is auto-recognising: the meter identifies whichever buffer the probe is dipped in, starting at pH 7.00 and following with 4.00, and each included buffer is good for up to 10 calibrations before replacement. A third point at pH 10.01 can be added for measuring above pH 8.0, though that solution is not included. In use, the probe sits at least 2.5 cm (1 in) deep in the sample, a smile icon confirms the reading has stabilised, and the LCD locks the value for reading away from the reservoir.
The kit ships complete, with the meter, one pH 4.00 buffer, one pH 7.00 buffer and a travel lanyard, and batteries arrive pre-installed behind a pull tab. Two limitations are worth knowing. The probe is fixed rather than replaceable, and AC Infinity's 2024 manual quotes an average electrode life of around 18 months depending on care, so maintenance protects the purchase: the probe is never stored in tap, RO or distilled water, the cap stays moist between sessions, and 3M KCL or pH 4.00 buffer handles long-term storage. Replacement buffers such as the Bluelab pH Calibration Solution 7.0 keep calibration honest once the included pair is spent. Its auto-recognition calibration and stabilisation icon turn a reliable reservoir check into a two-minute routine at any experience level.
NOTE: despite the IP67 rating, AC Infinity instruct that the meter must not be fully submerged - immerse the probe end only. Calibration solutions are not for consumption; wash hands after handling and keep all solutions away from children and pets.

pH and Temperature
One dip reads both values, with a smile icon confirming the reading has stabilised.
Built for Wet Work
A detachable shield guards the glass bulb and the IP67 body shrugs off splashes and dust.
Calibrates in Minutes
Auto-recognition detects each buffer as the probe dips, moving from 7.00 to 4.00 without menu work.

Directions for Use
expand_more
- Pull the battery insulation tab, remove the probe cap, and rinse the probe in distilled or deionised water.
- Calibrate before first use: dip the probe in pH 7.00 buffer and wait for the meter to auto-recognise it, then rinse and repeat with pH 4.00. Add a pH 10.01 third point only when measuring above pH 8.0.
- Submerge the probe at least 2.5 cm (1 in) into the sample and wait for the smile icon, which confirms the reading has stabilised.
- Allow 1 to 5 minutes for low-ionic samples such as tap, RO or distilled water to stabilise.
- Rinse the probe in distilled or deionised water after testing and refit the cap.
- Recalibrate monthly, after a long run of samples, or whenever readings drift; replace each buffer after about 10 calibrations.
- Storage: keep the probe cap moist between sessions. For long-term storage, fill the cap a quarter full with 3M KCL or pH 4.00 buffer. Never store the probe in tap, RO or distilled water.
