AC Infinity Room to Room Fan
The AC Infinity Room to Room Fan is a two-way through-wall transfer fan designed to move air between two adjacent interior spaces, sharing surplus heat, cooling or fresh air from one room with the next. Unlike the AC Infinity AIRLIFT Axial Shutter Fan, which exhausts through a wall or window opening to the outdoors, or the one-way AC Infinity AIRTITAN Axial Wall Mounted Fan built for crawl space and basement ventilation, this unit mounts through an interior partition wall and reverses direction digitally, so a single installation can push air either way as the seasons change. It needs no ducting at all, making it a tidy way to spread conditioned air from a grow space or living area into the room beside it.
Behind a 25.8 cm (10.15 in) square faceplate moulded from fire-resistant ABS over an internal steel structure sits a 20.3 cm (8 in) axial fan on an EC motor with PWM speed control and dual ball bearings, which AC Infinity rate at 67,000 hours. The rotor reverses electronically rather than mechanically: holding two buttons for three seconds swaps the airflow from intake to exhaust, with a 10 second countdown while the blades change over. At full speed it moves up to 518 m³/h (305 CFM) against 64.7 Pa of static pressure while drawing 16 W at 48 dBA, quiet enough to run around the clock in a living space. The housing is a telescopic cylinder that adjusts to interior walls 8.9 to 15.2 cm (3.5 to 6 in) thick, and the onboard digital controller pairs a corded temperature probe with ten fan speeds across ON, AUTO, timer and cycle modes, including independent high and low temperature triggers, a -10 to +10°C calibration and a transition setting that ramps the fan one speed level per temperature step crossed.
The unit runs on a universal 100 to 240V AC input through a 1.83 m (6 ft) power cord, with a hardwire option best left to a licensed electrician. Overall depth is a slim 11.7 cm (4.58 in), the assembly is rated IP44 and operates between 4 and 60°C (40 to 140°F) at 35 to 85% relative humidity, and AC Infinity back it with a two year warranty. The box includes the fan unit, rear faceplate, wire mount, eight wood screws, wall anchors and cutting stencils for both faceplates, so a standard installation needs no extra hardware. It is sold in a single 200 mm size, and its controller is entirely onboard rather than part of the UIS ecosystem, so it neither needs nor pairs with an external controller. In a tent setup it works naturally downstream of an AC Infinity Cloudline Pro S Mixed-Flow Inline Fan, moving the exhausted warmth through the wall to wherever it is useful next. Its digitally reversed rotor and independent high and low temperature triggers let one wall opening both deliver and relieve heat, warming the next room in winter and venting it in summer without a second unit.
NOTE: this fan is designed for interior partition walls only. It is not suitable for bathrooms or other wet or damp locations, and must not be installed in windows, fire-rated walls or outside walls, or in spaces containing flammable vapours or corrosive fumes.

Directions for Use

- Choose a location on an interior partition wall 8.9 to 15.2 cm (3.5 to 6 in) thick, clear of studs, pipes and wiring, and never a bathroom, window, fire-rated wall or outside wall.
- Tape the supplied front and rear stencils to matching positions on each side of the wall and cut both openings.
- Adjust the telescopic cylinder to the wall thickness and insert the fan unit through the opening.
- Fit the rear faceplate from the far side and secure both faceplates with the supplied wood screws, adding the wall anchors where there is no stud backing.
- Route the cord through the wire mount and plug the 1.83 m (6 ft) lead into a nearby outlet; have any hardwired installation carried out by a licensed electrician.
- Set the airflow direction by holding Setting and Up for 3 seconds for intake, or Setting and Down for exhaust, then allow the 10 second reversal countdown to complete.
- Choose a mode: ON for a constant speed, AUTO with independent high and low temperature triggers, TIMER to ON or OFF, or CYCLE for alternating run and rest durations.
- Fine-tune in Settings as needed: temperature calibration from -10 to +10°C, transition temperature steps up to 4°C, display auto-dim and the controller lock.
