AC Infinity Thermoforge Ducted Ceramic Heater
Controlled warm air enters the growing area through ducting with the AC Infinity Thermoforge Ducted Ceramic Heater, keeping an exposed heater outside the plant space through cold nights and unheated rooms. Both models combine a PTC ceramic element, variable fan and climate probe, allowing heat to respond to temperature or vapour pressure deficit rather than simply switching at full output. The smaller and larger models differ in heating capacity, duct arrangement and control features, with exact output, coverage and dimensions kept in Technical Specifications.
Positive temperature coefficient ceramic increases in electrical resistance as it heats, naturally reducing current as the element approaches its operating temperature. A blower moves air across the finned element and into the duct, so warmth is carried into the grow space by airflow. AC Infinity control both fan and heat over ten levels using pulse width modulation. This lets the unit settle at a partial output near its target instead of repeatedly cycling between full heat and off. Fan-only operation is also available when air movement is needed without added heat.
Sensor connection, ducting and onboard control differ across the AC Infinity Thermoforge family, so inclusions and model features belong in Technical Specifications. Both can operate from their own climate sensor and controls or join UIS for coordinated scheduling. The higher-output ducted model carries three purchase-critical requirements: its single sensor port accepts either the supplied probe or a UIS controller lead, never both at once; its exhaust must use AC Infinity's heat-resistant hose; and any optional intake must use flexible layered 100 mm ducting. AC Infinity also limit incoming air for this model to 65% RH and state that it must not draw from a space containing a humidifier. They govern placement beside humid grow spaces.
NOTE: Keep the heater upright on a firm, level surface in a dry indoor location, with at least 0.9 m clearance from walls, outlets, furniture, bedding, paper, clothing, curtains and other combustible material. Never obstruct the intake or exhaust, allow the body to touch the tent, or use the unit near liquids. Plug it directly into a wall outlet, not an extension lead or power board, and switch off, unplug and allow it to cool before cleaning.

Directions for Use

- Stand the heater on a firm, level, dry surface with at least 0.9 m (3 ft) clear on all sides, away from walls, outlets, furniture, bedding, paper, clothing and curtains. Never operate it on carpet, bedding or any soft surface where the vents can be blocked.
- T3: pull the built-in hose out to length and feed it through the lowest tent port, adding the supplied extension hose where a longer run is needed.
- T7: without ducting, stand the heater beside the tent and direct its exhaust vent into a lower tent port. To duct it, align the thermal resistant hose with the threading on the top exhaust port and turn it anticlockwise, as AC Infinity direct, until it seals against the inner face of the port. Intake ducting is optional; where it is used, fit flexible layered 100 mm ducting to the side intake port with a duct clamp. For a closed loop, run the exhaust to an upper tent port and the intake back from a lower one.
- Plug in the supplied sensor probe and route it to canopy height using the included mounts or ties, keeping it out of the discharge air. On the T7 only the grey probe packed with the heater may be used, as AC Infinity warn that probes packaged with other devices can damage it, and the port must be kept dry and capped whenever no probe is fitted.
- Plug the heater directly into a wall outlet with nothing else drawing from the same circuit. Never use an extension lead or a power board.
- Set the display units, then choose heat mode or fan mode and select a level from 1 to 10. Enter a temperature or VPD target where the mode calls for one.
- T3 only: set the timer, cycle, minimum and maximum levels, leaf offset and calibration offsets from the onboard menu. T7 only: switch the AI setting on - AC Infinity state that when it is active the system dynamically ramps levels as the temperature shifts further from the target.
- To run the heater from a UIS controller, connect the included male-to-male extension cord. On the T7 the probe must be unplugged first, because the single port carries either the probe or the controller lead. On either model AC Infinity note that the controller overrides all onboard settings and that a probe plugged into the controller overrides the heater's own sensor.
- Expect a faint smoke or odour on first use as manufacturing oil residue burns off the elements. AC Infinity state this is normal and should not reoccur.
- Before cleaning, switch the heater off, unplug it and wait for the heating elements and any moving parts to come to a complete stop and the unit to cool. Twist the intake vent cap off the T3 and wipe the grille and cap with a damp cloth; remove the T7 intake filter and rinse it in warm water, drying it fully before refitting. Never use detergents, solvents or chemical cleaners.
- Store the unit upright in a dry place. The T3 power cord wraps around the spool moulded into its underside.
