AC Infinity Thermoforge T3 Ducted Ceramic Heater
The AC Infinity Thermoforge T3 Ducted Ceramic Heater is the compact model in the Thermoforge family, built to hold a grow tent at a target temperature or VPD through cold nights and unheated rooms. AC Infinity rate it for tents up to 1.5 x 1.5 m (5 x 5 ft); that rating assumes a sealed, well-insulated space, and in a cold room it is an ideal-conditions ceiling rather than a promise. It is also the complete in-box option of the pair: where the larger AC Infinity Thermoforge T7 Ducted Ceramic Heater connects to separate 100 mm ducting, the T3 carries its own built-in hose and a detachable extension, so the heater body stands outside the tent and ducts warmth through the lowest port with nothing further to buy.
Inside the tower housing, three PTC ceramic plates generate the heat. PTC ceramic is flameless and self-regulating, with no exposed glowing element, and pulse-width modulation steps its output across ten heat levels rather than crudely switching on and off; a ten-level fan function moves unheated air through the same body. A corded thermal-alloy sensor probe plugs into the 3.5 mm jack at the rear and routes to canopy height, feeding an onboard LCD controller that runs Auto low-temperature triggering, a VPD mode accounting for ambient temperature, humidity and leaf temperature with leaf offset and calibration settings, plus timer and cycle programs. Warm air leaves through the built-in hose, which extends from 25.0 to 70.0 cm (9.84 to 27.55 in), and the included duct extension hose reaches from 50.0 to 140.0 cm (19.68 to 55.11 in) for longer runs. The unit measures 29.2 x 15.1 x 30.8 cm (11.49 x 5.94 x 12.12 in), draws 530 W at 240 V / 50 Hz, and carries the RCM mark under SAA approval EESS-250152-0.
Connecting the included male-to-male UIS cord to a controller such as the AC Infinity Ai+ Environmental Controller hands over full automation: the controller overrides the onboard settings, reads from its own sensor probe, and schedules heat alongside fans, lights and a humidifier such as the AC Infinity Cloudforge T3 V2 Humidifier for complete VPD control. The box includes the heater, sensor probe, UIS extension cord, four probe mounts, four hook-and-loop ties and the duct extension hose. Operating range is -10 to 60°C (14 to 140°F) at 30 to 85% relative humidity, though AC Infinity advises placing the unit inside a tent only where humidity stays at or below 65%, and it is intended for dry indoor locations only. Its extendable hoses reach up to 140.0 cm (55.11 in) from the unit, letting the heater stand clear of the canopy while its Auto or VPD trigger holds the tent at target through the coldest part of the night.
NOTE: keep at least 0.9 m (3 ft) of clearance on all sides from walls, fabric and flammable materials, and never cover or obstruct the heater. Plug it directly into a wall outlet; never use an extension cord, power board or surge protector. Use only in dry indoor locations, upright on a stable surface; a fail-safe pauses heating if the unit falls or tilts past 15 degrees, and overheat protection cuts heating at 90°C (194°F) internally or when the sensor probe reads above 60°C (140°F). Surfaces become hot in use; move the heater by its handle.

Directions for Use

- Position the heater outside the grow tent and route the built-in duct hose through the lowest duct port, or place it inside the tent only if humidity stays at or below 65% RH.
- For longer runs, fit the included duct extension hose over the end of the built-in hose.
- Plug the sensor probe into the 3.5 mm jack at the rear and route the probe head to canopy height using the probe mounts and hook-and-loop ties.
- Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet, wrapping excess cord on the spool beneath the body; never use an extension cord or power board.
- Choose a heat mode on the LCD controller: Auto triggers below a set temperature, VPD triggers on low VPD, and timer or cycle programs run to a schedule.
- For full automation, connect the included male-to-male UIS cord to a UIS controller; the controller then overrides the onboard settings and reads from its own probe.
- To clean, unplug the heater, twist off the intake vent cap, wipe the cap and grille with a damp cloth, and dry both before refitting.
