Aptus Baseboost
Aptus Baseboost is a 100% organic, slow-release pellet fertiliser that carries the full set of macronutrients and micronutrients a plant needs, so one application at planting can run a crop through vegetative growth and flowering on water alone. It works as a complete standalone amendment in soil, terra, peat or pure coco, which puts it in a different position to a liquid base feed: instead of mixing and measuring at every watering, the nutrition is already sitting in the medium, releasing as the plants are watered.
The pellets are time-release, so each application keeps feeding for months rather than days, and the nutrition is built around L-amino acids that supply organic nitrogen. That matters for two reasons. Organic nitrogen in this form promotes vigorous vegetative growth and photosynthesis without the risk of burning or overdosing that comes with pushing a mineral feed, and the same L-amino acids act as bio-stimulants, feeding soil micro-life and lifting beneficial bacteria populations. Secondary macronutrients and organically chelated trace elements round the formula out, so the medium is conditioned as well as fed, and a complete nutrient profile helps minimise the stress plants pick up from their environment, pests and pathogens.
Baseboost is mixed into the medium during preparation, dropped into the planting hole, or top-dressed and watered in on established plants, which also makes it a straightforward way to correct a deficiency mid-cycle. It takes a week or two to fully kick in, so FASiLITOR and STARTBOOST at the start of a crop give a faster launch, and in inert or unamended media the pellets go in first and the medium is saturated a week before transplanting. The recommended dosage supports high-demand cultivars for 10 to 12 weeks in high UV conditions, so a longer run needs a second top-dressing, and for growers looking to maximise yield it works as a replacement for a typical base NPK nutrient, run underneath the rest of the Premium Collection boosters.

Application Rate
- Soil or coco: 100 g per 25 L of growing medium
- Sandy soil: 200 g per plant, per 2 to 3 month cycle
- Clay or heavy soil: 100 g per plant, per 2 to 3 month cycle
Application
- Mix the pellets into the ground during medium preparation, or place them at the bottom of each planting hole before transplanting.
- Alternatively, top-dress the pellets onto the surface and water them in.
- When mixing into inert or unamended media, mix the pellets in and then saturate the medium one week before transplanting.
- Apply with water only, or add boosters for greater effect.
- Baseboost can take a week or two to fully kick in, so use FASiLITOR and STARTBOOST at the beginning for a faster start.
- For established plants, or where the cycle runs longer than 3 months, top-dress with the same dosage and gently mix it in or cover it lightly with soil or substrate, then water as usual.
- If deficiencies appear, add more pellets as a top-dressing and water from the top; the pellets are solubilised and the nutrients assimilated by the plant.
- Outdoors, use with FASiLITOR, STARTBOOST and BLOOMBOOST. Indoors, use with all of the boosters.
