Aptus Breakout Powder
Aptus Breakout Powder is a dry, fully water-soluble phosphorus and potassium booster for the stage where flowers set and bulk, when a crop's demand for P and K climbs faster than a base feed alone is built to cover. It is an ultra-clean, pH stable PK additive that stays compatible with every cultivation system and substrate, which is what makes it as sensible in a hand-watered coco pot as on a commercial fertigation line. Application is a straightforward root drench, and the dry format stores compactly and mixes to whatever strength the feed calls for.
The formulation is built on monopotassium phosphate, a single salt carrying both phosphorus and potassium in concentrated, readily available form. Phosphorus is a crucial element in the photosynthetic units of energy a plant runs on, and an improver of overall crop quality. Potassium is essential to producing those same energy units, and it also regulates plant-water content and CO2 consumption, so it sits behind both bulking and the plant's day-to-day gas exchange. Alongside them, potassium and magnesium sulphates carry sulphur, a vital component of plant proteins and essential to the formation of certain oils in some plants, and a strong sulphur source through maturation is what lifts colour and flavour in the finished crop. All of it comes from high-quality water-soluble concentrates.
Breakout Powder can be run as a standalone PK additive, as the PK in the Aptus CLEAN Program, or as an additional shaping tool alongside the PREMIUM Program. Pre-dissolving the measured dose in a small amount of cold water before it goes in is the reliable way to use it, and checking EC afterwards is worth the minute it takes. One technique worth leaving alone: some growers add Breakout Powder on top of their standard schedule through the last three weeks of flower to push flower size. Aptus are blunt that while this does increase yield, it can also decrease quality significantly, and that for most genetics it ruins the structure, potency and flavour profile. Used at the normal rate, standalone or inside a programme, it does the job it was formulated for without that trade.
NOTE: Do not apply Breakout Powder at the same time as Peakboost, Finaleboost or Bloomboost. All can be used within the same flower cycle, but combining extra phosphorus or potassium inputs in one solution provides no further benefit.

Application Rate
- All substrates and systems: 0.25 g - 1 g per 1 L
Application
- Measure the dose for the volume of solution being mixed, place it in a measuring jug or bucket with a small amount of cold water, and stir or agitate until it is fully dissolved.
- Add the mixed solution to the reservoir, feed solution or stock tank and mix well. The pure powder can be added directly if preferred, though pre-dissolving is the recommended method.
- As a guide to scale, a 400 g dose dissolves into approximately 4 L of cold water before going into an 800 L tank of solution.
- Check EC after adding Breakout Powder to the reservoir and adjust with fresh water if necessary.
- Do not apply at the same time as Peakboost, Finaleboost or Bloomboost. These may be used within the same flower cycle, but not together in the same solution.
