Aptus Fasilitor
Aptus Fasilitor is a concentrated silica supplement that makes everything else in the feed work harder. It is a patented formula of potassium silicate broken down to a single molecule level, mono-silicic acid, and stabilised with boron, which makes it 100% bioavailable as soon as it is diluted into water. That matters because silicon only does anything for a plant once it is in a form the roots and leaves can actually absorb. Used through a crop, it firms up cell structure, keeps growth compact and helps plants carry on through the stresses a season throws at them. It also meets fertilising standards permitted for use in organic agriculture.
Plants can only take up silica once it has been broken down to a single molecule level. Common potassium and calcium silicates are chains of molecules, too large to be absorbed as they are, and they become plant-available only through weathering in the medium, which takes 3 to 12 weeks. Silica dioxide, better known as quartz or sand, has to weather in the same way. Fasilitor is already at the mono-silicic acid stage, so there is no waiting period and no guessing about when the silica added to a feed becomes useful. Inside the plant it raises vascular pressure to move minerals more completely through the whole structure, producing more robust tissue and a tougher epidermis layer, shortening internodal spacing by redirecting mineral translocation to new limbs, and reducing transpiration by forming thick cell walls made largely of silica and calcium. The silicic acid also spreads boron evenly through the tissue, the precursor to cell formation and the carrier of plant sugars, while molybdenum drives the enzymes that convert nitrates into amino acid building blocks and inorganic phosphorus into organic forms.
It works as a standalone additive or alongside a complete feed from any brand, and it suits a recirculating reservoir, soil and coco containers, or a foliar spray equally well. Order of mixing matters more here than with most additives: Fasilitor goes into fresh water first, ahead of any other fertiliser or crop protection product, because of the way the mono-silicic acid particles are stabilised, and missing that step costs the benefit. Pour a dose into a separate container for measuring rather than dipping anything into the bottle, which keeps the concentrate uncontaminated. In a reservoir or hydroponic system it holds up for a minimum of seven days, and circulation pumps are the better way to keep that solution moving, because air stones cause silicic acid to polymerise on the stone surface and add to the cleaning. In a soil container it also regulates how much of a given mineral enters the plant, which can soften what would otherwise show as a toxicity and let healthy growth resume.
NOTE: Fasilitor is a strongly acidic concentrate, pH below 1, and is classified as a reproductive toxicant. Wear gloves and eye protection, avoid contact with skin and eyes, do not swallow, and keep it out of reach of children. Always dilute it into water before use.

Directions for Use

Dilution Rate
- Hydroponics: 0.15 ml - 0.3 ml per 1 L
- Soil: 0.15 ml - 0.3 ml per 1 L
- Foliar spray: 1 ml per 1 L
Application
- Add Fasilitor to fresh water in the reservoir or spray tank first, before any other fertiliser or crop protection product, and mix well.
- Pour the dose into a separate container for measuring rather than putting a measuring instrument into the bottle.
- Feed at the regular rate through vegetative growth and flowering, and step up to the higher rate through the first three weeks of flower to limit stretching.
- Add the remaining nutrients and additives one at a time, mixing each in well, then check pH.
- For foliar work, mix at the foliar rate and spray; in flower, foliar spraying is recommended for the first two weeks only.
- In a reservoir or hydroponic system, circulate the solution with a pump rather than an air stone.
Safety
DANGER: may damage fertility or the unborn child; causes skin irritation; causes serious eye irritation.
Wear gloves and eye protection when handling the concentrate, and avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Keep the container tightly closed and out of reach of children.
If on skin: wash with plenty of soap and water.
If in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
If swallowed: rinse mouth and seek medical advice.
