Aptus Peakboost
Aptus Peakboost is an ultra-concentrated, fast acting phosphorus booster and flower site initiator, made for the early to mid-flower window when flower sites are being set. What marks it out is what it leaves out: the formula is potassium free, so phosphorus can be supplied on its own and matched to the plant in front of you rather than arriving bundled with potassium the crop may not want at that moment. That single element control is what makes it a shaping tool for small growers and large scale cultivators alike, and it is the reason it gets reached for when a cultivar needs steering rather than blanket feeding.
Phosphorus is the element behind energy in a plant, capturing sunlight into usable forms of energy, and it is also one of the easiest to lose to antagonism: in a mixed feed it competes with other elements and can end up unavailable at exactly the stage the crop wants most of it. Peakboost is built around that problem. Its phosphorus travels with L-amino acids, which bring organic nitrogen of their own and hold the phosphorus in a form the plant takes up quickly, rather than leaving it to fend for itself among the rest of the tank. That chelation is also why it works at such small rates; for most cultivars nothing heavier is needed. The formula is organo-mineral, meaning the mineral phosphorus is paired with organic material rather than delivered as a straight salt.
In use it goes into the reservoir at every feeding from the first week of flower through to the fourth, with the dose lifted gradually as the cycle runs until flowers are well set and ready for bulking. That window is a starting point, not a boundary: longer flowering cultivars such as hazes can carry it further, repeating the fourth week of the programme for an extra week and then doing the same again at week six. It is not restricted to bloom, either. On its own it is a phosphorus booster at any stage of growth, and purple colouring or streaking on the petioles of vegetative plants is the classic sign it is wanted early, correctable through the feed mix or as a foliar spray. One habit worth keeping: where a calcium supplement such as Massboost or Mineral-CalMag is going into the same mix, let one dissolve fully into solution before the other goes in, to minimise possible lockout.
NOTE: Peakboost is an acidic concentrate, classified in Australia as a Schedule 6 poison. It causes severe skin burns and eye damage and is harmful if inhaled. Keep out of reach of children, read the safety directions before opening or using, and do not swallow. Store it sealed and away from foodstuffs, and never with alkalies, flammable materials or oxidising agents.

Dilution Rate
- Regular feeding: 0.1 ml - 0.3 ml per 1 L
- Foliar spray (maintenance): 2 ml per 1 L
- Foliar spray (repair): 4 ml per 1 L
- Vegetative deficiency correction: 0.25 ml per 1 L
Application
- Add Peakboost to the reservoir at every feeding from the first week to the fourth week of the flowering stage.
- Extend or shorten that window to suit the total flowering time of the cultivar or the preferences of the individual cultivar.
- Increase the dose gradually through the bloom cycle until the flowers are well set and ready for bulking.
- Where a calcium supplement such as Massboost or Mineral-CalMag goes into the same mix, allow one to mix into the solution before adding the other, to minimise possible lockout.
- Peakboost can also be used on its own as a phosphorus booster at any stage of growth.
- For purple colouring or streaks on the petioles of vegetative plants, add Peakboost to the vegetative feeding mix at the correction rate, or apply it as a foliar spray.
- Always raise or dim the lights before foliar spraying.
