Using Autopot’s gravity-fed Smart-Valve technology, it automatically delivers water and nutrients on demand, ensuring plants receive optimal hydration without pumps, timers, or electricity. This creates natural wet/dry cycles that promote healthier root systems and vigorous plant growth.

Each kit includes a 35 L Hydrotank reservoir, four Hydrotray Double 10” modules, eight 10” pots, root control mats, Smart-Valves, tubing, filter, and fittings. Designed for soil, coco, or perlite/vermiculite blends, the Autopot 8 Pot Kit is suitable for growing a wide range of crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, capsicums, and herbs. Its modular design allows for easy expansion, making it ideal for both hobby and small-scale commercial growers.

Directions for UseDirections for Use

  1. Position the 35 L Hydrotank higher than the trays to allow gravity-fed flow.
  2. Connect tubing from the tank to the Smart-Valves and Hydrotray modules.
  3. Insert root control mats into the base of each pot.
  4. Fill pots with a well-draining growing medium (e.g. 50/50 perlite-vermiculite or coco blend).
  5. Plant seeds or seedlings directly into the media.
  6. Fill the reservoir with water and add nutrients as required.
  7. The Smart-Valves will maintain optimal soil moisture by refilling trays as plants draw down water.
  8. Refill the tank every 1–4 weeks depending on crop size and climate.
