The Autopot Root Control Mat (Marix) is a pre-cut root management layer designed for use with Autopot pots. It is positioned at the base of the pot prior to filling with growing media, forming a physical barrier that helps manage root growth at the pot exit point.
By discouraging roots from growing out of the bottom of the pot, the mat supports cleaner system operation and helps reduce the likelihood of roots extending into areas where they are not desired. It also assists in retaining loose growing media within the pot, particularly when using coarse or free-draining substrates.
A simple add-on that helps keep AutoPot pots cleaner and more stable through the grow.
