The Autopot Smart-Valve is the central mechanical control component used within Autopot gravity-fed irrigation systems, responsible for regulating when water or nutrient solution enters the growing tray. It operates by responding directly to liquid level changes, allowing solution to flow in when levels drop and shutting off supply once the preset height is reached.
Designed for passive operation, the Smart-Valve functions without pumps, timers, or electricity, making it well suited to low-maintenance growing environments. Its purely mechanical design supports consistent, plant-led watering behaviour, allowing plants to draw solution as required while maintaining a stable water level within compatible Autopot trays and modules.
