AZOS is Xtreme Gardening’s nitrogen‑fixing bacterial inoculant, containing Azospirillum brasilense, a naturally occurring diazotroph originally isolated in the Amazon rainforest. Active at approximately 1 × 10⁶ CFU per gram in powder form, it converts atmospheric nitrogen into plant‑available ammoniacal nitrogen and stimulates the release of indole‑3‑acetic acid (IAA), a natural growth hormone that promotes robust root and vegetative development.
Especially valuable during early plant establishment, AZOS supports faster rooting, stronger root mass, and sustained vegetative vigour. Often paired with MYKOS® and Xtreme Tea brews, it helps reduce reliance on synthetic nitrogen while enhancing overall plant health and yield.

Rooting Cuttings:
- Add 28 g (4 tbsp) per 3.8 L (1 gal) of water. Soak grow plugs or Rock‑wool cubes for 10 minutes.
- In a separate container, mix 1 part AZOS with 2 parts water.

- For best results, pH water to 6.0 before mixing.
Propagation Machines (e.g., EZ Clone, Turbo Cloner):
- Adjust water pH to 6.0.
- Add 7 g (1 tbsp) per 3.8 L (1 gal) of water.
Transplanting:
Add AZOS to the hole directly around roots or dust the entire root ball. Set plant, backfill, and water in:
- 3.8–11.4 L (1–3 gal): 7 g (1 tbsp)
- 19–26 L (5–7 gal): 14 g (2 tbsp)
- 38–76 L (10–20 gal): 21 g (3 tbsp)
- 95–190 L (25–50 gal): 28 g (4 tbsp)
- 380 L (100 gal): 60 g (½ cup)
In‑Ground & Raised Beds:
- 15 g (1 tbsp) per plant hole.
When Watering (Vegetative Stage):
Mix AZOS with water and apply weekly:
- 19 L (5 gal): 14 g (2 tbsp)
- 95 L (25 gal): 21–28 g (3–4 tbsp)
- 190 L (50 gal): 42–56 g (6–8 tbsp)
