Biobest Sticky Trap uses a red adhesive card to monitor most leafhoppers and some gall midges. Those targets distinguish it from the familiar yellow and blue cards, helping put the appropriate colour into a monitoring programme for the insects actually present.
Durable, recyclable plastic carries glue on both sides, and an integrated hook helps hang the card in the crop. The glue is water-repellent and resists drying in hot conditions. The card also retains its shape under high temperature and relative humidity, giving the adhesive a stable support for crop checks.
Use it for early detection, monitoring or mass trapping in protected and outdoor crops. Regular counts are still essential: the trapped insects show activity over time, rather than a single result that describes the whole pest problem. The red card attracts most leafhoppers and some gall midges, not every species within those groups.
It comes as a single card or in packs of 10 or 20, all the same red card.
NOTE: These sticky traps cannot currently be used in Victoria.
A red sticky card made for leafhopper and gall midge monitoring!
