Bluelab KCl Storage Solution is a concentrated potassium chloride solution designed to keep pH probes hydrated and working correctly.
There is not a lot to say beyond that, it works effectively and is essential for preventing the probe from drying out. Unlike plain water, the KCl solution also helps prevent the internal electrolyte from being diluted or drawn out through the probe’s reference junction, helping maintain accurate readings and extend the probe’s lifespan.
For transparency, I am the owner of Hydro Oasis. This is the solution I personally use for maintaining pH probes, and it does exactly what it is intended to do.
