The Bluelab Soil pH Pen is a handheld meter designed to measure pH and temperature directly within soil and growing media. It enables in-situ root zone testing, allowing measurements to be taken directly where plant roots are active rather than relying on extracted samples or slurry methods.
Suitable for use in soil, coco coir, rockwool, and nutrient solutions, the pen provides a practical method for checking media conditions across a range of growing environments. Its design includes a double-junction pH probe and a fully waterproof body, supporting reliable operation during routine testing.
The unit features a backlit display for clear readings and simple two-point calibration, along with a built-in calibration reminder. A dual-purpose storage cap with dibber is included to assist with preparing the media before measurement, helping ensure correct probe placement without damaging the sensor.
