The Bluelab Leap pH Probe is a reinforced, multi-environment pH probe designed for direct measurement in soil, substrate, and nutrient solutions. It connects to compatible Bluelab handheld meters, monitors, and controllers via a standard BNC connection, enabling accurate pH readings across both media and liquid applications.

Engineered with Bluelab’s Leap™ technology, the probe is built to support consistent performance in demanding growing environments. Its reinforced spear tip allows direct insertion into soil and substrates for in-situ root zone measurement, while the same probe can also be used for continuous monitoring in nutrient reservoirs.

The probe features a double-junction design to support reliable readings in a range of solution conditions and is fully waterproof for use in wet environments. It is supplied with a KCl-filled storage cap to maintain probe condition and ensure readiness between uses.

Directions for UseDirections for Use

  1. Connect the Leap pH Probe to a compatible Bluelab meter, monitor, or controller.
  2. Remove the storage cap and rinse the probe with clean water before use.
  3. Calibrate the probe using appropriate pH calibration solutions.
  4. Insert the probe directly into soil or substrate, or place into nutrient solution.
  5. Allow the reading to stabilise before recording the measurement.
  6. Clean the probe after use and replace the storage cap with storage solution.
