Assemble LED Array
Unfold and mount the RETRO LED using the included hanging brackets or compatible systems.
Connect Ballast
Plug the ballast into the LED array using the correct lead (sold separately) and secure all connections.
Set Output
Use the ballast dial to choose between 250W, 400W, 600W, or 690W depending on your plant stage.
Connect Power
Plug the ballast into a standard 220–240V supply. Use a timer or controller for automated schedules.
Maintain Environment
Check airflow and ambient temperatures regularly. Clean LED surfaces as needed for optimal efficiency.

The DIGI-LUMEN RETRO 600W LED Array is a great concept and works very well. It is designed to run from a compatible 600W digital ballast, allowing growers to move into LED lighting without replacing their entire existing setup.
The biggest advantage is the flexibility. You can use the LED array through warmer months when reducing heat is important, then switch back to an HID lamp during colder weather when the extra heat is useful.
For anyone who already owns a compatible ballast, it provides a practical and cost-effective way to alternate between LED and HID lighting as conditions change. The concept is simple, the setup is straightforward, and it performs well.
