DIGI-LUMEN Extreme LED
The DIGI-LUMEN Extreme LED is a full-spectrum bar light for indoor growers who would rather judge a fixture by the photons it puts over the canopy than by the size of its housing. Every model in the range reaches 3.0 umol/J, and every model carries its driver inside the fixture rather than in a box on the wall, which is the difference between hanging a light and installing a system around it. It is a decision that shows up in how an Extreme goes up and in how tidy a room stays once several of them are hanging.
A bar-style fixture spreads its diodes along the full width of the frame rather than clustering them behind one lens, which is what allows a light of this output to sit closer to the crop with an even spread underneath it. The Extreme models are built on that layout, with bar count and frame footprint stepping up together through the range, and the larger fixtures fold on a bi-fold frame for transport before opening out once they are hung. Heat sinking is aluminium, carried either on an iron frame or formed as a die-cast pressed housing, and the driver working inside that housing is a high-frequency design.
The four Extreme models, 400 W, 720 W, 1000 W and 1000 W XL, are one light built in four sizes: each uses the same bar-style layout with its driver inside the fixture, and the frame and photon output grow from the smallest model to the largest. That output is quoted as photosynthetic photon flux at the source, which is the figure worth comparing from one size to the next. Keep the diode face and the heat sinking clear of dust so each fixture sheds heat the way it was designed to.
NOTE: This is a high-output horticultural fixture. Do not look directly into the diodes while it is running, and wear eye protection when working underneath the light.

Directions for Use
Application
- Set the hanging height by light level rather than a fixed distance. Check the reading at the top of the canopy with a quantum PAR meter such as the Treegers Quantum PAR Meter, and raise or lower the fixture until the reading suits the plants' stage of growth.
- On models with a dimmer, start at the lowest setting and raise the intensity gradually as the plants grow, checking the reading again after each change.
Safety
Do not look directly into the diodes while the fixture is running, and wear eye protection when working underneath it.
Handle the fixture by its frame when unfolding, hanging or moving it, and keep its connections dry.
