DIGI-LUMEN Extreme UCL Stand Swivel
The DIGI-LUMEN Extreme UCL Stand Swivel is a pair of heavy-duty precision swivels made specifically for DIGI-LUMEN's Extreme under-canopy LED bars. Each swivel lets its light be tilted and locked at an angle, so the bar's edge light goes sideways and back under the canopy instead of straight up. If you already run Extreme under-canopy lighting, the swivels turn a fixed, upward-facing bar into one you can aim at the lower growth it was bought to reach.
Under-canopy lighting exists because a dense canopy shades itself. The upper leaves catch most of what an overhead fixture delivers, which leaves the lower leaves and lower flowering sites working with much less. A bar placed beneath the canopy fills that gap. When it points straight up, though, much of its output lands on the underside of the leaf layer directly above it. Angling the bar changes where that light goes.
Each swivel has a quick-adjust mechanism that sets the light at 45 or 90 degrees and locks firmly in place once the angle is chosen. Because the adjustment is quick, the angle does not have to stay where it was set on day one. It can be changed as the crop grows and the canopy changes shape.
The swivels are built for the DIGI-LUMEN Extreme under-canopy range, and the DIGI-LUMEN Extreme 200W Under Canopy LED is the model they are confirmed to suit. Fit with other brands' under-canopy bars has not been established. The pack contains two swivels and nothing else. The under-canopy light and the stands are each sold separately, so make sure both are on hand before planning the installation. After setting an angle, look at how the light falls across the lower leaves, and adjust again if most of it lands on stems or open floor.

Installation
- Position one stand at each end of the DIGI-LUMEN Extreme 200 W Under-Canopy LED bar.
- Wind each stand up or down to set the bar's height off the floor, raising it as the canopy develops.
- Raise the bar roughly 20 to 40 cm (7.9 to 15.7 in) above the lower growth being lit.
- Angle the beam slightly upward into the understorey rather than leaving it horizontal.
Safety
Set both stands on level, stable ground and check that the bar is seated on each one before letting go.
Switch the bar off before changing its height or angle.
