Dr Greenthumbs Root Roids
Root Roids is Dr Greenthumbs’ flagship biostimulant and one of Australia’s most trusted root zone enhancers. It combines a synergistic blend of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi with a diverse range of nutrient‑solubilising bacteria to establish a thriving living ecosystem around the root zone. These beneficial microbes form symbiotic relationships with plants, dramatically increasing root surface area, unlocking bound nutrients, and improving the uptake of water and minerals. The result is accelerated vegetative growth, stronger stems, and healthier, more resilient plants that consistently yield higher quality harvests.
Root Roids is designed for versatility and performance. In soil, it stimulates microbial biodiversity and improves long‑term soil health. In coco, it prevents common nutrient lockouts and helps shorten vegetative cycles. In hydroponics, growers frequently report 7–10 days faster veg times, visible plant responses within 48 hours, and fertiliser savings of up to 25%, thanks to more efficient nutrient uptake. Its clean, easy‑to‑use formulation dissolves quickly, leaving no residue, making it system‑safe for hand watering, automated irrigation, or foliar applications.
By promoting healthier root systems, Root Roids doesn’t just drive faster growth, it enhances plant resilience against stress, boosts terpene and flavour production, and creates the foundation for bigger, denser, and more aromatic flowers. Whether you’re a hobby grower or a commercial producer, Root Roids is the one‑step microbial inoculant that unlocks the full potential of your plants.
A living inoculant that delivers faster growth, healthier plants, and bigger yields.

- Propagation (Seedlings & Cuttings): Apply ¼ scoop per L of water as a root drench once roots are visible.
- Foliar Spray: Mix ½ scoop per L of water. Spray at night or with lights off and allow 10 hours of rest. Apply fortnightly. Note: product may stain surfaces.
Tips
- Stop using in coco one week before flush for a cleaner finish.
