Green Planet Coco Chips
Green Planet Coco Chips are a professional-grade, ready-to-use growing medium produced from renewable coconut husk material. Manufactured in a world-leading ISO 9001 certified facility, these coco chips undergo fresh water retting to ensure a clean, consistent substrate suitable for controlled growing environments. Each batch is RHP-certified (028DS15) and compliant with EN 12580 European standards, providing a contaminant-free and reliable media option.
Formed into a coarse chip structure, this variant offers increased porosity compared to traditional coco coir, promoting stronger airflow through the root zone while still maintaining effective moisture retention. The media is pre-buffered to neutralise excess sodium and potassium, supporting stable calcium and magnesium availability from the outset and reducing the need for initial conditioning.
With a naturally balanced, pH-neutral profile, Green Planet Coco Chips can be used as a standalone substrate or blended with finer coco coir, perlite, or soil-based media to adjust drainage and structure. Its renewable origin and consistent processing make it suitable for a wide range of hydroponic and container growing applications.
