Green Planet Horti Cal
Horti Cal is Green Planet’s specialised dry fertiliser designed to deliver calcium, magnesium, and nitrogen during both vegetative and flowering stages. With a robust 14‑0‑0 NPK ratio plus Ca and Mg, it reinforces plant cell walls, prevents common deficiencies like tip burn, leaf chlorosis, and blossom‑end rot, and enhances overall plant resilience. Its clean, fully water‑soluble formulation makes it ideal for stock tanks, injectors, and dosing systems, with no sediment or clogging risk.
By supporting structural strength and chlorophyll production, Horti Cal helps plants handle environmental stress, maintain strong stems, and maximise photosynthesis. Calcium fortifies cell walls and improves nutrient transport, while magnesium fuels chlorophyll synthesis for lush green growth. The added nitrogen keeps development balanced, driving vigour throughout the growth cycle.
Formulated to integrate seamlessly into the HORTI Feeding Program, Horti Cal complements Horti Grow, Horti Bloom, and Horti Late Bloom by maintaining calcium and magnesium balance. It is suitable for soil, coco, and hydroponic systems, scaling from small hobby gardens to full commercial operations.
Whether applied in veg or bloom, Horti Cal ensures crops develop the structural strength, stress resistance, and nutrient efficiency needed for healthy, high‑quality yields.
A calcium‑magnesium base that safeguards plants from deficiency and builds resilience from start to finish.
Strengthens Plant Structure
Calcium reinforces stems and cell walls, ensuring sturdier plants across all growth stages.
Supports Vigorous Growth
Magnesium drives chlorophyll production while nitrogen sustains steady green development.
Clean, Clog‑Free Solubility

Mixing & Concentrate Preparation
- Fill a clean stock tank halfway with water.
- Slowly add Horti Cal granules (approx. 120 g per Litre of water).
- Top up with water and mix thoroughly until fully dissolved (may take up to 30 minutes).
- This creates a concentrated stock solution. Always prepare each HORTI dry product in its own tank to avoid precipitation.
Dosing the Reservoir
- Inject or manually dose the concentrate into the main reservoir; circulate thoroughly for even distribution.
- After dosing, check and adjust EC and pH to target.
Application
- Use during both vegetative and flowering stages to maintain calcium and magnesium balance.
- Suitable for soil, coco, and hydroponic systems.
- Always check and adjust EC and pH after dosing the reservoir.
- Apply in conjunction with Horti Grow, Horti Bloom, and Horti Late Bloom for optimal results.
Store sealed in a cool, dry, ventilated place. Protect from humidity and temperature extremes.
