Green Planet Plant Guard
Plant Guard is Green Planet’s premium potassium silicate supplement designed to fortify plant structure and resilience. By depositing silica directly into cell walls and epidermal layers, it strengthens stems and branches, enabling plants to carry the weight of heavy flowers without bending or breaking. This added structural support is invaluable during the flowering stage when blooms demand maximum stability, but also during vigorous vegetative growth to prepare plants for training and canopy management.
Beyond physical reinforcement, Plant Guard enhances a plant’s natural defences against stress. Thicker cell walls reduce moisture loss and improve tolerance to temperature swings, drought, and high VPD conditions. They also act as a defensive barrier against pests and fungal pathogens such as powdery mildew and grey mould, helping crops remain healthier throughout their lifecycle.
Stronger internal structure also improves nutrient and water transport, ensuring plants feed efficiently and consistently. This leads to faster growth rates, increased vitality, and higher overall productivity, especially under high‑intensity lighting or heavy‑feeding programs.
Plant Guard is clean, fully soluble, and low‑residue, making it ideal for hydroponic and recirculating systems as well as soil and coco. It integrates seamlessly into any nutrient program, including GP3 and Dual Fuel, ensuring easy adoption for growers of all scales. With regular use, expect sturdier frames, improved stress resistance, and reliable harvests with superior crop quality.
Builds resilient plants that withstand stress and deliver consistent harvest quality.
