The HVC Mixed Flow Fan is a high-performance inline fan engineered for efficient and quiet ventilation in hydroponic grow rooms, tents, and controlled environments. It features advanced Electronically Commutated (EC) motor technology, offering superior energy efficiency and precise speed control. The mixed-flow impeller combines the strengths of axial and centrifugal designs, delivering robust airflow with excellent static pressure while maintaining whisper-quiet operation.
Each fan includes a dedicated speed controller out of the box, allowing growers to fine-tune airflow based on environmental requirements across different growth stages. Its lightweight ABS housing, along with a mounting bracket or hanging tabs, ensures easy and flexible installation in a variety of setups, whether compact tents or full-scale rooms.
Offering a broad range of sizes, from compact 100 mm units to robust 200 mm models, the HVC Mixed Flow Fan caters to diverse ventilation needs. Each size delivers optimised performance metrics (airflow, power draw, and weight), making it easy to match to your grow environment. A standard 12-month warranty adds confidence and reliability to its long-term performance.
Reliable, controllable airflow for tents and rooms.
Energy-Efficient Performance
Uses EC motor technology to deliver high airflow while keeping energy consumption low.
Mixed-Flow Static Pressure
The mixed-flow impeller maintains airflow through carbon filters, bends and longer duct runs without excessive drop-off.
Uses electronically commutated (EC) motor technology for efficient power draw and stable torque at low speeds.
Supplied with a variable speed controller for on‑the‑fly airflow tuning.
Mixed‑flow impeller balances airflow with higher static pressure than axial fans.
Standard range sizes: 100 mm (275 m³/h, 18 W), 125 mm (280 m³/h, 20 W), 150 mm (594 m³/h, 40 W).
This model is not silenced; actual noise depends on speed, duct diameter, bends, and mounting method.
Lightweight ABS housing with mounting bracket/hanging tabs enables fast inline installation.
Suitable for intake or exhaust and compatible with carbon filters when correctly matched to airflow.
Ideal for grow tents and small rooms where efficient air exchange is required.
Backed by a 12‑month warranty for peace of mind.

Setup & Installation
Secure the fan using the provided bracket or hanging tabs. Install inline within ducting, placing intake and exhaust fans strategically hang fans high for exhaust and near base for intake to optimise air circulation.
Power & Control
Connect the integrated speed controller. Adjust airflow to suit each growth stage: lower speeds for propagation, moderate for veg, higher for bloom. Ensure the fan’s power rating aligns with your electrical supply.
Operational Recommendations
Maintain optimal airflow by setting fan speed to balance temperature, humidity, and CO₂. Avoid restricting airflow by matching duct size and minimizing bends.
Maintenance Guidance Inspect airflow and noise levels monthly. Clean external casing as needed; there are no internal parts requiring regular cleaning.
When not in use, store the fan in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, ensuring the controller is disconnected and components are sealed securely.
