HVC Smart EC Fan Controller Pro
The HVC Smart EC Fan Controller PRO is a dual-channel controller for EC inline fans, built for precise, automated climate management in ducted grow rooms and tents. A 2.8-inch TFT interface provides clear readouts and quick navigation, while the included 5 m temperature-and-humidity sensor feeds live data for responsive control.
Unlike basic speed dials, the PRO offers mode-based automation. Day/Night profiles switch via the integrated light sensor, Auto Trigger reacts to high/low temperature and humidity thresholds, and Schedule/Timer/Cycle options let you run extraction exactly when you need it. Min/Max speed limits and smooth EC ramping keep airflow stable and quiet-leaning at low RPMs.
Two independent outputs (Ch1 and Ch2) allow you to control intake and exhaust or two zones from one controller, with fan-fault detection and alarm prompts for peace of mind. The unit draws low-voltage power from the connected EC fan channel (no separate mains adaptor needed) and mounts cleanly at eye level with the supplied bracket.
Designed for compatibility with HVC EC fans (and other EC fans using the same control interface), the PRO focuses on reliable, temperature- and humidity-aware automation to maintain a consistent environment across propagation, veg and bloom.

- Setup & Installation
Mount the controller using the supplied bracket and screws at eye level. Route the temp/humidity sensor to canopy height, shielded from direct light and radiant heat. Connect EC fans to Ch1/Ch2 and dress cables neatly. - Power & Control
The controller draws power from the connected EC fan output. Power the fans, then set language and units (°C/°F). Calibrate temperature/humidity if required, and set Min/Max speed limits for your duct and filter load. - Operation & Tuning
Choose a mode:
Day/Night/Circadian for light-based profile switching.
Auto Trigger to react to High/Low Temp and High/Low Humidity.
Manual for fixed speed; Timer, Cycle, or Schedule for time-based control.
Use Ch Settings to target Ch1, Ch2, or Ch1+Ch2 together and adjust speeds to maintain temperature, humidity and negative pressure as needed. - Maintenance
Check monthly that the sensor is secure and dust-free, cables are seated, and alarms are clear. Review triggers and schedules seasonally. No internal servicing is required.
Disconnect from fans, coil the sensor lead loosely, and store the controller in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and moisture.
