HyMax Roots is a liquid beneficial bacteria formulation developed for use across hydroponic, coco and soilless growing systems, with application guidance also provided for soil-based media. It is designed to be used alongside standard nutrient programmes, focusing specifically on supporting biological activity within the root zone rather than contributing direct nutritional value.
The formulation contains a concentrated blend of naturally occurring beneficial bacteria, including Bacillus subtilis and photosynthetic bacteria. These microorganisms colonise the rhizosphere, interacting directly with plant roots and the surrounding solution or media. This activity supports nutrient cycling within the root zone and contributes to a more biologically active growing environment.
HyMax Roots is suitable for use throughout all stages of plant growth, from early establishment through to harvest. It is compatible with both recirculating and drain-to-waste systems, where maintaining stable water conditions and microbial balance is critical. The formulation supports nutrient availability and contributes to improved water quality within the system.
This product is not a sterilising agent and is not intended for direct pest or disease control. Its role is to support beneficial microbial populations within the root zone, contributing to a balanced environment through natural microbial competition.

Dilution Rate
0.5 ml per 1 L water
Application
Shake well before use.
Use at 5 ml per 10 litres weekly through the growing and flowering cycle.
Double the dosage at the first application to ensure beneficial bacteria dominate the ecosystem.
Add after adding your other nutrients and after pHing.
Evenly apply when water temperature is above 10°C.
Keep in the original bottle with the cap tightly sealed.
Store in a cool, dry place below 45°C (113°F) away from sunlight, and use within 6 months after opening.
Best stored between 5 – 45°C (41–113°F) for up to 18 months. Do not freeze.
