Nutrifield Coco Perlite
Nutrifield Coco Perlite is a premium, ready-to-use growing medium blended at 70% coconut coir and 30% perlite to deliver the ideal balance of water retention, drainage, and root-zone oxygenation. The coco fraction is thoroughly washed, pre-buffered with calcium, and pH-stabilised for low-salt, consistent performance straight from the bag, helping to prevent common early-stage lockouts.
The 30% perlite increases porosity and airflow through the media, supporting rapid root development, faster growth, and reliable nutrient uptake under frequent fertigation. This blend suits a wide range of systems, hydroponic drip-to-waste, recirculating coco, container gardening, and propagation, and is an excellent upgrade from straight potting mixes where precise irrigation and oxygen availability are needed.
Quality controls on the coco ensure a clean, uniform substrate with a stable cation balance so calcium and magnesium remain available from day one. The blend is lightweight and easy to handle, allowing quick filling of pots and beds with minimal compaction while maintaining structure over the crop cycle.
Made from renewable coconut husk and inert perlite, Nutrifield Coco Perlite delivers professional-grade performance with a lower environmental footprint. It’s the dependable base media for growers who want consistent results across veg, bloom, and repeat cycles.
Delivers a clean, buffered 70/30 base for fast growth and dependable nutrient uptake.
Balanced Moisture & Drainage
The 70/30 coco-perlite ratio holds water evenly while maintaining free-draining structure.
Buffered & Stable

Directions for Use

Directions for Use
- Preparation
Open the bag and lightly fluff to break up transport compaction. Pre-wet the media evenly until slight runoff is observed. - Potting & Fill
Fill containers or beds without over-packing; aim for a consistent, airy structure. Plant cuttings or transplants at the desired depth. - Irrigation & Feeding
Begin your coco nutrient program immediately. Irrigate to achieve 10–20% runoff under drip-to-waste; increase frequency as roots establish. Maintain target EC/pH according to your feed chart. - System Notes
Coco/Hydro: Frequent, smaller irrigations improve oxygenation and nutrient stability.
Propagation: Keep evenly moist; avoid saturation to protect delicate roots.
Container Gardens: Allow partial dry-back between irrigations while preserving media structure.
Reseal after use and store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. Avoid contamination with soil or garden debris.
