The Pro Grow PPFD Sensor is a dedicated accessory designed for integration with the Pro Grow Model Z lighting control system, enabling accurate measurement of photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD) directly at plant canopy level. Operating as part of the Model Z Smart Controller setup, it allows light intensity to be monitored and adjusted based on real-time canopy readings rather than fixed output settings.
Designed as a plug-and-play component, the sensor connects via the RJ12 port on the Model Z Smart Controller and is specifically compatible with the Pro Grow Model Z 780 W LED fixture. By measuring light where it is received by the plant, it supports a more controlled lighting approach aligned with canopy conditions.
