SeaHawk Propagation Tent
Cuttings, seedlings and early vegetative plants gain a dedicated warm, humid zone inside the SeaHawk Propagation Tent before moving to a full-size grow tent for routine early-stage growing work. The family includes an open-floor format for a small propagation setup and a larger racked format for running trays on two levels. The choice comes down to floor layout and the number of tray levels, while exact dimensions, shelf arrangements, ports and access points are listed in Technical Specifications.
The cover uses a black woven outer fabric with reflective silver lining across the solid inner panels. A fine diamond-like texture scatters returned light rather than reflecting it as one hard beam, which suits the short working distances found in a propagation enclosure. Breathable intake areas are intentionally left permeable so replacement air can enter without a powered intake fan. Warm, moist air can then leave through the roof opening naturally or through ducted extraction when tighter temperature and humidity control is needed.
A push-fit metal frame supports the cover. Every pole must be fully seated into its corner or joiner before the fabric is fitted; a partly engaged connection changes the frame geometry, stretches seams and makes the zip harder to close. The removable floor tray is useful for catching splashes during watering, but it should be emptied and wiped rather than used to hold standing water. Nylon straps and hanging bars support the internal layout, while the larger model adds coated wire racks for the two shelf levels.
The tent itself does not include a propagation light, fan, tray, humidity dome or heat mat. Those parts need to be selected around the chosen layout, with enough vertical clearance left between each shelf, the plants and the light. Passive intake also means the enclosure is not sealed. It will not maintain strong negative pressure or contain odour like a fully ducted grow tent, and neither model has a drain outlet. The roof port can accept extraction ducting when passive breathing is no longer enough to manage heat or humidity.
SeaHawk provides a 12-month manufacturer warranty for manufacturing and material defects, with zips covered for three months. Incorrect setup, stretched seams, condensation, mould, wear and damage from misuse are excluded, so the frame and cover should be inspected during the first assembly.
NOTE: This is an enclosure, not a complete propagation kit. Light, fan, trays, domes and heating equipment are sold separately. Keep electrical connections above any runoff, remove standing water promptly and do not expect the breathable intake panels to provide the containment of a sealed grow room.

Ventilates Without A Fan
A permeable intake and roof vent exchange air.
See In Without Opening
A viewing window on both models shows the cuttings.
Sized To The Batch
The smaller holds one tray, the larger two per shelf.

Directions for Use

- Check the box contents against the parts list before starting, and lay out the poles, connectors, hanging bars, tray and cover.
- Assemble the metal frame, pushing every pole fully home into its corner or connector. Tap fittings gently with a rubber mallet where they are tight. A pole left short makes the cover hard to fit and can stretch the seams enough to let light through.
- Unzip the zip systems on the cover all the way.
- On the 0.75 x 0.5 x 0.7 m model, place the roof neatly over all four corners of the top frame for a snug fit, then hang the three bars - one across the depth and two along the width - before going any further.
- On the 0.75 x 0.5 x 0.7 m model, slip the base section of the cover beneath the assembled bottom rails so it sits neatly around the frame corners and sides.
- On the 1.2 x 0.6 x 1.2 m model, start at the floor instead: fit the cover onto the four base corners with the door oriented so it opens from the bottom upwards, then slip the left and right sides over the frame, zipping the cover up little by little as it goes on.
- On the 0.75 x 0.5 x 0.7 m model, close the zip systems carefully, pushing the upright poles inwards at each corner as the zip passes.
- On the 1.2 x 0.6 x 1.2 m model, fit four steel wire racks onto three hanging bars at each of the two frame levels, adjusting the bars and racks flat and horizontal. The two remaining bars go at the top of the frame to hang a light from.
- Fit the floor tray and the nylon fabric straps in place, then zip the front door closed.
- Where extraction is wanted, feed ducting into the roof outlet vent and draw the sleeve closed around the duct - 150 mm (6") on the 0.75 x 0.5 x 0.7 m model, 200 mm (8") on the 1.2 x 0.6 x 1.2 m model. Running without a duct, leave the sleeve open so warm, moist air can leave through the roof vent.
- Clean and dry the tent before dismantling, then reverse the assembly sequence. Dismantle carefully and avoid stretching the seams, which is what keeps the cover light-tight.
- Store the cover folded flat and dry, with the poles, connectors and hanging bars kept together.
