Storgard Clothes Moth Pheromone Lure and Trap
Storgard Clothes Moth Pheromone Lure and Trap helps detect clothes-moth activity around natural-fibre items before larvae cause further damage. The pre-baited sticky trap attracts adult moths and retains them for inspection, making it a discreet monitoring option for wardrobes, storage areas and other places where activity is suspected.
The fold-over design opens for checking and identifying the catch. Its pheromone system targets webbing and casemaking clothes moths, as well as brown-dotted clothes moth. Position traps near likely sources of susceptible wool, natural fibres or hair-based materials, and use catches to locate activity rather than assuming an empty trap proves an area is clear.
A regular inspection record helps show whether activity is persisting or responding to corrective action. Check at least weekly and more often if an infestation is suspected. When traps are checked daily, inspect them in the morning, because the moths are active at night.
The trap pairs with Trichogramma clothes-moth wasps as part of management. A trap still needs renewal as its attractant ages or its condition deteriorates. Keep unopened foil packaging sealed in a cool place, and replace each trap every 4 - 12 weeks.
