AC Infinity Ionbeam U2 UV Supplemental LED
The AC Infinity Ionbeam U2 UV Supplemental LED is the targeted-spectrum specialist of the Ionbeam family: a two-bar kit emitting only in the UVA band, at 365 nm and 395 nm, wavelengths that standard white LED fixtures barely produce. AC Infinity state that UVA simulates the ultraviolet component of natural sunlight, drawing out plant expressions and enhancing fruit and flower development, and they recommend it strictly as a flowering-stage supplement to a primary light rather than a fixture in its own right. Where the full-spectrum AC Infinity Ionbeam S11 Supplemental LED adds general canopy light, the U2 adds one specific band with one specific job.
Each 27.9 x 2.75 cm (10.98 x 1.08 in) bar carries 12 UV diodes, 24 across the pair, split between the two wavelengths, and the set draws 15 W. Both bars share the family's sealed IP65 aluminium shell, snapping magnetically onto the included powder-coated steel mounting bars through the canvas or straight onto the tent frame. The wired Dimming Schedule Controller provides ten intensity levels with ON, SCHEDULE, SUNSET/SUNRISE and CLOCK modes, and here the scheduling is the whole point, because UV is applied as a measured dose rather than left running by default. AC Infinity's guidance is to run the U2 during flowering only, either a few hours a day or across the entire daily light cycle, mounted at least 30 cm (1 ft) above the canopy. Coverage scales with intensity, from 60 x 60 cm (2 x 2 ft) at level 5 up to 60 x 120 cm (2 x 4 ft) or 90 x 90 cm (3 x 3 ft) at level 10.
Power comes from an EC adapter on a 253.4 cm (8 ft) cord, and the included 304.8 cm (10 ft) male-to-male UIS cord passes scheduling to a UIS controller for automated dosing windows alongside fans and other gear. The kit includes one single-corded and one dual-corded bar, two magnetic mounting bars, the schedule controller, power adapter, three bar extension cords and mounting hardware. At full intensity its coverage tops out at 90 x 90 cm, matching a tent like the AC Infinity Cloudlab 733 Grow Tent 0.9 x 0.9 x 1.8 m; larger rooms sit outside its rating. Scheduled from its own controller or through the UIS ecosystem, the U2 layers a timed UVA dose over the flowering window without touching the primary light's settings.
NOTE: never stare directly at the lit fixture, and wear UV-rated eye protection when working under ultraviolet lighting; avoid prolonged exposure of bare skin. Mount at least 30 cm (1 ft) above the canopy and run only during the flowering stage per AC Infinity's guidance.

- Install only for the flowering stage, following AC Infinity's usage guidance.
- Fix the two magnetic mounting bars at least 30 cm (1 ft) above the canopy, through the canvas or on the tent frame.
- Snap the bars on, connect them with the included extension cords, and plug into the schedule controller and power adapter.
- Match intensity to coverage: level 5 for 60 x 60 cm (2 x 2 ft), level 10 for 60 x 120 cm (2 x 4 ft) or 90 x 90 cm (3 x 3 ft).
- Use SCHEDULE mode to run the bars for a few hours a day, or across the full daily light cycle, per AC Infinity's recommendation.
- Wear UV-rated eye protection whenever working under the lit bars and avoid direct skin exposure.
- For automated dosing windows, connect the power adapter to a UIS controller with the included male-to-male cord.
