AC Infinity Ionframe EVO3 LED
The AC Infinity Ionframe EVO3 LED is the entry point to the IONFRAME EVO series and the only rectangular fixture in it, a 280 W bar light shaped for the 61 x 122 cm (2 x 4 ft) flowering footprint that a square panel covers unevenly. It slots naturally over an AC Infinity Cloudlab 642 Grow Tent 1.2 x 0.6 x 1.8 m, filling the floor edge to edge, and sits at the bottom of a five-model family that climbs from this 280 W panel to the 1000 W EVO10.
Across its bars run 840 diodes: 537 Samsung LM301H EVO whites at 3000K and 270 at 5000K, joined by 3 Seoul 395 nm UV, 27 OSRAM 660 nm red and 3 OSRAM 730 nm far-red diodes. The warm-weighted white mix leans toward flowering, and AC Infinity quotes a single-diode efficacy of 3.14 µmol/J for the EVO chips along with output of up to 1745 PPFD, figures published without a stated measurement height. The fixture is sealed to IP65 for life in a humid tent, rated from 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F) and 35 to 85% RH with a 50,000 hour life expectancy, and runs a passive-cooled removable driver measuring 18.2 x 4.0 cm (7.16 x 1.57 in) that mounts on the frame, on a tent wall via the included brackets, or outside the tent on its extension cord.
The frame measures 41.0 x 83.0 x 7.7 cm (16.14 x 32.67 x 3.03 in) and hangs from four corner anchors using the included stainless steel wire hangers and rope clips, kept at least 30 cm (1 ft) above the canopy. The included schedule controller brings ten intensity levels, timed cycles and sunrise/sunset ramps of up to six hours, and swaps out for an AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro when app control and climate automation are wanted. Veg coverage stretches to 91 x 152 cm (3 x 5 ft), while sealed rooms running CO2 rate at just 30 x 91 cm (1 x 3 ft); a square 91 x 91 cm tent is better matched by the AC Infinity Ionframe EVO4 LED. Its rectangular diode layout carries light into the ends of a 2 x 4 tent that a centred square fixture of the same wattage leaves dim.
NOTE: this is a high-output grow light. Never look directly at the diodes while the fixture is running, and consider rated eye protection when working under it at full intensity. Per the manufacturer's manual: do not hardwire the fixture, do not operate it in wet, flammable or explosive atmospheres, unplug it before installing, servicing or moving it, and do not rely on programmed on/off schedules as the sole means of cutting power.

Directions for Use

- Clip the included carabiners and stainless steel wire hangers to the tent roof bars and hang the light from its four corner anchors; use the rope clips to set it lower if needed.
- Keep the fixture at least 30 cm (1 ft) above the plant canopy at all times.
- Mount the LED driver on the light frame, on a tent wall using the included brackets, or outside the tent via the driver extension cord.
- Connect the schedule controller with one of the included UIS cords, then magnet-mount it to the frame or screw it to a wall.
- Set intensity for the stage of growth: the manual's starter guide suggests 40% for seedlings, 80% for veg and 100% for flower.
- Program on/off times or a sunrise/sunset ramp of up to six hours; the internal battery holds the clock through power loss.
- For app control, swap the schedule controller for a UIS controller such as the Controller 69 Pro (sold separately).
