AC Infinity Multifan USB Centrifugal Blower
The AC Infinity Multifan USB Centrifugal Blower is the extraction specialist of the Multifan family, a 120 mm centrifugal fan in a case that stands just 3.3 cm (1.3 in) tall on its feet and sits flat on top of ventilated equipment. Where the AC Infinity Multifan USB Axial Fan needs open space above or beside gear to sweep air across it, the S2 works in shelves with no headroom at all, drawing air up through the ventilation holes in the top of the equipment beneath it and pushing it out through its rear vents - clearing heat from AV receivers, amplifiers, consoles and grow room control gear stacked in tight cabinets and racks.
Inside the low-profile case, a centrifugal impeller mounted on dual ball bearings turns at 1200 RPM, redirecting airflow through ninety degrees: intake underneath, exhaust out the back. The impeller moves 59 m³/h (35 CFM) at a manufacturer-rated 17 dBA, the quietest published figure in the Multifan range alongside the S1, while drawing 1.05 W (0.2 A) from any 5 V DC USB port rated 500 mA or higher. The body measures 12.0 x 12.0 x 2.5 cm (4.7 x 4.7 x 1.0 in) and rises to 3.3 cm (1.3 in) on four fixed silicone feet - unlike the detachable feet on the axial models, these stay fitted, protecting the surface of the equipment and preserving the intake gap beneath the case that the airflow path depends on. The bearings are rated to 67,000 hours L10 life, and a 132 cm (4 ft) cord runs from the USB plug through an inline three-speed controller, with a 69 cm (2 ft) run on to the blower.
A second USB port on the body chains up to four units from a single power source, each downstream blower following the controller nearest the supply, and the unit operates from -18 to 70°C (0 to 158°F) and 35 to 85% relative humidity. The S2 is an extraction device for ventilated gear rather than a circulation fan or a ducted exhaust - its 0.84 mm H2O static pressure is the lowest in the family, so where air genuinely has to be pushed through ducting, the AC Infinity Cloudline Pro S Mixed-Flow Inline Fan is the right tool. Sold as a single S2 unit. Its rear-exhaust layout takes heat straight off the top vents of whatever it sits on, in shelf spaces where no upward-blowing fan has room to operate.
NOTE: USB fans are ineffective in fully sealed enclosures - air must be able to flow in and out of the space through vents or openings. Multifan units are not designed for outdoor use, filter attachment or through-wall mounting, and splicing or hardwiring the USB cords voids the warranty.

- Place the blower flat on top of the equipment so its underside intake sits over the gear's top ventilation holes, with the rear exhaust vents facing open space.
- Leave the four silicone feet fitted; they protect the equipment surface and maintain the intake gap beneath the unit.
- Plug the USB connector into a dedicated port rated 500 mA or higher.
- Set the inline controller to low, medium or high; the same switch provides the off position.
- To cool multiple stacked units, daisy-chain up to four blowers through the USB port on the body and set the chained units to high.
- Keep the rear exhaust clear and never stack objects on top of the blower.
