AC Infinity pH Meter Pro Kit
The AC Infinity pH Meter Pro Kit sits between the entry AC Infinity pH Meter Kit and the five-parameter AC Infinity Hydroponic Meter PRO Kit (pH & EC) as the precision model of AC Infinity's water testing line: pH and temperature only, but read to ±0.01 pH, ten times finer than the entry meter resolves. That resolution suits growers holding tight reservoir targets, dialling in stock solutions, or chasing the slow drift a coarser meter would round away.
Its defining feature is the interchangeable lithium glass membrane probe. Rather than the electrode's lifespan retiring the whole instrument, the probe ring unscrews and the electrode pulls straight off its pins - never twisted, which bends them - so a fresh probe seats, soaks in 3M KCL for 5 to 15 minutes and calibrates back to full accuracy. Around it sits an IP67-rated body measuring 17.8 x 4.2 x 3.3 cm (7.01 x 1.65 x 1.30 in), with a backlit LCD carrying a battery indicator, an AUTO-HOLD function that freezes any reading held stable for more than ten seconds, low and high alarms settable anywhere from 0 to 14.00 pH, and a dedicated mV mode reporting raw electrode output. Calibration auto-recognises up to five points - 1.68, 4.00, 7.00, 10.01 and 12.45 - always beginning at 7.00; the included 4.00 and 7.00 buffers each cover about 10 calibrations and the 10.01 about five.
The kit is the most complete in the family, containing the meter, a travel lanyard, pH 4.00, 7.00 and 10.01 buffers, 3M KCL soaking solution and three calibration vials that keep each buffer uncontaminated during calibration. The KCL doubles as probe first aid: a two-hour soak restores a dried or sluggish electrode, a quarter-cap stores the probe long term, and refills such as the Bluelab KCI pH Storage Solution keep that regime running for the life of the meter. One boundary remains: the Pro reads pH only, so checking solution strength still calls for an EC instrument. With a swappable electrode and calibration spanning 1.68 to 12.45, it holds ±0.01 accuracy across years of reservoir work rather than a single electrode's lifespan.
NOTE: despite the IP67 rating, AC Infinity instruct that the meter must not be fully submerged - immerse the probe end only. Calibration solutions are not for consumption; wash hands after handling and keep all solutions away from children and pets.

Ten Times Finer
Reads to ±0.01 pH, ten times finer than the entry pH Meter Kit resolves.
Replaceable Probe
The electrode pulls straight off its pins and a replacement seats in minutes, so the meter outlives its probe.
Settable pH Alarms
Low and high alarms settable across 0 to 14.00 pH flag a solution drifting out of range.

Directions for Use
expand_more
- Remove the battery insulation tab and probe cap, then rinse the probe in distilled or deionised water before first use.
- Calibrate starting at pH 7.00, then add 4.00 and/or 10.01 points as needed; the screen turns green in calibration mode. Decant each buffer into its included calibration vial to keep solutions uncontaminated. For wide-range work the meter also recognises 1.68 and 12.45 points (solutions not included).
- Submerge the probe at least 2.5 cm (1 in) into the sample and wait for the smile icon; AUTO-HOLD locks any reading that stays stable for more than 10 seconds.
- Expect 1 to 5 minutes of stabilisation in tap, RO or distilled water; low-ionic samples read slowly.
- Set the low and high pH alarms through the parameter menu to flag solutions outside the target range, and switch between pH and mV modes with the mode button.
- Rinse the probe after each session and refit the cap. Recalibrate monthly or whenever readings drift; the 4.00 and 7.00 buffers last about 10 calibrations each, the 10.01 about 5.
- To replace the probe: remove the cap and probe ring, pull the electrode straight off its pins without twisting, seat the new probe, soak it in 3M KCL for 5 to 15 minutes, and recalibrate before use.
- Storage: keep the cap moist for regular use and fill it a quarter full with 3M KCL or pH 4.00 buffer for long-term storage; never store the probe in tap, RO or distilled water. Soak a dried or sluggish electrode in 3M KCL for 2 hours to restore sensitivity.
