The AC Infinity UIS Extension Cable - USB C Female | Male is the inline extender in AC Infinity's UIS cable family, designed to lengthen the connection between a UIS controller and its devices without replacing the cable already in place. The female UIS head receives the plug of an existing device or splitter hub cable, and the male head carries the run a further 3.05 m (10 ft). Unlike its straight and L-shaped male-to-male siblings, it is listed by AC Infinity as fully compatible with the AC Infinity Ai+ Environmental Controller, supporting all of its device identification and advance functions, including device-exclusive controls such as oscillation on the AC Infinity Cloudray S Oscillating Axial Clip Fan.
Both ends terminate in AC Infinity's compact UIS head, a USB C style plug engineered to fit UIS connectors and ports and seat to a depth of just 0.6 cm (0.23"), holding a firm, secure connection without standing far proud of the port. A water-resistant gasket seals the joint where the incoming plug meets the female head, protecting the contact point from the humid air and condensation a sealed grow space produces. The cord itself is a passive UIS signal cable in solid black; it carries no mains power, only the controller's programming, so temperature and humidity triggers, timers and schedules travel down the extended run exactly as they would over a direct connection.
At 3.05 m (120 in / 10 ft), a single extension typically covers the gap when a controller is mounted at eye level outside the tent and a device's factory lead falls short, including runs that pass through a splitter hub. Its female head means an undersized factory lead never needs to be unplugged from the device it serves; the run simply gains 3.05 m from wherever the existing cable ends.
NOTE: the UIS connector is USB C in shape only. This cable carries UIS control signals between AC Infinity equipment and is not designed for USB data transfer or device charging.

- Insert the plug of the existing device or splitter hub cable into the female UIS head until it seats firmly against the gasket.
- Route the extension toward the controller along tent poles or framing, avoiding tight kinks at the connectors.
- Insert the male UIS head into the controller's device port, or into the next cable or splitter hub in the run.
- Confirm the controller detects the device and that its triggers, timers and schedules respond before tidying the cable away.
